How to connect an EZsalt Sensor to Wi-Fi via the IP Address

Step 1. Connect to "EZsalt" Network
Open your phone's settings, go to Wi-Fi networks, find a network named "EZsalt" and tap on it to connect. 

Note: If you do not see an EZsalt Network showing. Hold the button on the sensor for 6 seconds then unplug and plug back in. You should see the light blinking slowly.

If on Android, you may get another popup letting you know the network does not have internet and asking if you want to stay connected. Make sure to say yes and stay connected.
Step 2. Enter 192.168.4.1 in a browser

Open a browser and enter the IP address of the device which is 192.168.4.1 in the search bar. 

Wait! Make sure you are connected to EZsalt Wi-Fi network first before clicking this button!

Step 3. Connect to Wi-Fi

A page will open showing networks you can connect to. Tap on yours and enter your password below. Check the box next to "WiFi Password" to see the password you typed.

Once entered, click Save. Wait 10-20 seconds for the sensor to connect.

Step 4. Add "Existing Sensor"

Open the EZsalt app and create an account or log in.

Once logged in, click the button "Add existing sensor".

Step 5. Add Sensor Details

Add the sensor ID (located on the back of 3.0 sensors), the tank depth, alert percentage, and affiliate/company ID (if applicable).

Step 6. Confirm Connected Sensor

Once you see the sensor reading, click the check mark button in the left-hand corner.

Step 7. Sync Sensor 

After you have successfully connected the sensor, click the link "Sync with EZsaltGo".

You will now be able to see your salt level readings in the app.
