Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 29, 2026

MJAM Global LLC, doing business as EZsalt (“EZsalt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides software, mobile applications, connected sensor technology, and related services, including EZsaltGo (collectively, the “Services”).

We take the privacy and security of customer information seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected through the Services, how that information is used and protected, and the rights and choices available to businesses and individuals who use our Services.

A core principle of our platform is simple:

Businesses that use EZsalt to manage their customers retain control of their customer data. EZsalt provides the technology used to host, process, and manage that data. We do not sell customer data.

1. Our Role as a Technology Platform

EZsalt provides a software platform used by plumbing, HVAC, water-treatment, salt-delivery, home-service, and other businesses (“Dealers”) to manage customer accounts, connected sensors, memberships, recurring services, orders, communications, and related business activities.

When a Dealer places or maintains information about its customers within EZsalt:

  • The Dealer retains ownership and control of its customer data.

  • EZsalt hosts and processes that data to provide the Services to the Dealer.

  • EZsalt does not acquire ownership of the Dealer's customer list or customer relationships.

  • EZsalt does not sell, rent, or commercially distribute Dealer customer data to third parties.

  • EZsalt does not use Dealer customer lists to independently market unrelated products or services to those customers.

  • Dealers may access and export their customer data at any time, subject to the functionality available within the Services.

  • Dealers may delete customer records and other data under their control, subject to applicable legal, contractual, security, backup, and record-retention requirements.

If a Dealer deletes a customer's account or terminates the customer's access to a Dealer-provided application or service, that customer may lose access to the account, sensor information, service history, membership information, or other functionality associated with that Dealer.

Where EZsalt provides services directly to a consumer rather than on behalf of a Dealer, EZsalt may act as the business responsible for that consumer relationship and data.

2. Information We May Process

EZsalt does not store or have access to a customer's full payment-card number, card security code, or complete payment credentials.

Payment-card credentials are collected and maintained by the applicable third-party payment processor in accordance with that provider's own security and privacy practices.

  • Whether a transaction was successful

  • Transaction identifiers

  • Subscription status

  • Payment status

  • Refund information

  • Limited identifying information about the payment method when provided by the processor

Use of a third-party payment processor may also be subject to that processor's privacy policy and terms.

4. Dealer Ownership and Control of Customer Data

As between EZsalt and a Dealer, the Dealer retains its rights in the customer information and business data that it provides to or manages through the Services (“Dealer Customer Data”).

Dealers determine which customers they place within the platform and how they use the platform in their relationship with those customers.

Subject to applicable law and the Dealer's agreement with EZsalt, Dealers may:

  • View their customer information

  • Update customer information

  • Export their customer information

  • Manage customer accounts

  • Manage sensors associated with their customers

  • Manage service schedules and memberships

  • Terminate customer access to Dealer-provided services

EZsalt processes Dealer Customer Data primarily for the purpose of providing, maintaining, securing, supporting, and improving the Services requested by the Dealer.

A Dealer is responsible for ensuring that it has the appropriate authority, notices, permissions, and lawful basis necessary to provide customer information to EZsalt and to use that information through the Services.

We may also create aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, security, product development, operational planning, and improvement of the Services, provided that such information is not reasonably capable of identifying an individual.

6. We Do Not Sell Customer Data

EZsalt does not sell Dealer Customer Data or personal information to data brokers, advertisers, marketers, or other third parties.

We do not rent Dealer customer lists.

We do not provide a Dealer's customer database to another Dealer.

We do not use a Dealer's customer database as an independent marketing list.

Where applicable privacy law defines terms such as “sell” or “share,” we do not sell Dealer Customer Data for monetary consideration or share Dealer Customer Data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may change service providers as our technology and business needs evolve.

Access to personal information is limited to personnel and service providers that reasonably require access to perform their responsibilities.

However, no internet transmission, database, cloud system, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, while we take reasonable measures to protect information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data Export and Portability

Dealers maintain control of the customer data they place within EZsalt.

Dealers may export data from the platform using available export functionality. Depending on the applicable section of the platform, export options may include commonly used formats such as CSV or spreadsheet-compatible files.

If additional assistance is reasonably required to obtain Dealer Customer Data, the Dealer may contact EZsalt Support.

Our goal is not to hold a Dealer's customer database hostage. A Dealer should be able to retrieve the customer data it has entrusted to the platform.

11. Data Deletion

Dealers may delete customer information under their control using available platform functionality or by contacting EZsalt where assistance is required.

Deleting a customer's information may result in:

  • Loss of access to the customer's account

  • Loss of access to sensor history or connected functionality

  • Loss of service or order history

  • Cancellation or interruption of associated features

  • Inability to provide certain Services

Deletion from an active account does not necessarily mean that every copy of information is instantaneously removed from every backup or archival system.

Information may remain for a limited period in system backups, security logs, transaction records, or other records where retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, accounting, enforcement of agreements, or similar legitimate purposes.

Residual backup copies are subject to our normal backup-retention and deletion processes.

12. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to provide the Services, to fulfill contractual obligations, or to satisfy legitimate legal, security, accounting, or operational requirements.

Retention periods may vary depending on:

  • The type of information

  • Whether an account remains active

  • Dealer instructions

  • Contractual obligations

  • Security requirements

  • Financial or transaction-record requirements

  • Applicable law

When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, or de-identify it.

13. Individual Privacy Rights

Depending on where an individual resides, applicable privacy law may provide rights relating to personal information, which may include the right to:

  • Request access to personal information

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of personal information

  • Request a portable copy of certain information

  • Obtain information about categories of information being processed

These rights are subject to applicable legal exceptions and verification requirements.

You should normally direct requests regarding your customer account to that company.

Where EZsalt processes your information on behalf of that Dealer, we may forward your request to the Dealer or assist the Dealer in responding to the request.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

14. Dealer Responsibilities

Dealers using the Services are independently responsible for their own privacy practices and their relationships with their customers.

Each Dealer should provide any privacy notices required by applicable law and ensure that its collection, use, and disclosure of customer information through EZsalt is lawful.

EZsalt's Privacy Policy does not replace a Dealer's own privacy policy or other disclosures that may be required for the Dealer's business.

Where applicable, we take steps designed to process personal information in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

Privacy rights and legal requirements vary by jurisdiction. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

18. State and Regional Privacy Laws

Depending on an individual's residence and the applicability of a particular law, additional rights may exist under state, federal, or international privacy laws.

EZsalt will respond to legally valid privacy requests as required by applicable law.

When EZsalt processes Dealer Customer Data solely on behalf of a Dealer, the Dealer may be the appropriate party responsible for responding to the individual's request, and EZsalt will reasonably assist the Dealer as required by applicable law or contract.

We will not discriminate against an individual for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable law.

19. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Services.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

20. Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for restricting unauthorized access to their accounts.

Users should promptly notify EZsalt if they believe an account has been accessed without authorization.

Dealers are responsible for managing access provided to their employees, contractors, technicians, administrators, and other authorized users.

21. Data Incidents

If we discover a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate the incident and take reasonable steps to contain, remediate, and document it.

Where notification is required by applicable law or contractual obligations, we will provide required notifications to affected parties, Dealers, regulators, or others as appropriate.

22. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our Services, technology, legal requirements, or business practices change.

When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this Privacy Policy and provide additional notice where required by law.

Continued use of the Services following an update is subject to the updated Privacy Policy, to the extent permitted by law.

23. Other Agreements

This Privacy Policy describes our general privacy practices.

Additional agreements between EZsalt and a Dealer, including service agreements, data-processing agreements, business associate or vendor agreements where applicable, or other written contracts, may establish additional requirements concerning information processed on behalf of that Dealer.

If a written agreement between EZsalt and a Dealer imposes additional data-protection obligations, those contractual obligations will apply according to the terms of that agreement.
